Anxious? See you in the morning!

Interesting study out of Southern Methodist University says morning counseling sessions are most effective for the treatment of anxiety. Seems it's all down to cortisol levels. Cortisol, a naturally-occurring hormone that helps extinguish fear, is at its highest level after a good night's sleep.

Clients who work with us know that learning to manage relationship anxiety is a significant part of our therapeutic approach. This research adds to the weight of evidence that waiting until daylight to solve relationship problems might be the healthiest approach!
